What are we filming?

We are filming our biggest project yet as we will produce a historically accurate film set in the midst of one the deadliest conflicts ever, World War 1! It is for our graduate film but our aims are to produce this film to the highest standard possible and use it to kickstart our careers within the industry. It is inspired by a true story from the director’s great granddad and reflects a topic commonly forgotten about in most World War 1 films, homosexuality. Ceaseless is much more than a basic war film as it raises questions of morality. What would you do if the life of your enemy is in your hands?

Where are we filming?

We plan to film within several locations according to the script. These range from a trench to woodland, all based around the country. We currently aim to film the trench scenes within Ipswich at a designated location for filming. The rest of the woodlands will be shot around Manchester being our hometown. Locations are yet to be confirmed but they will be in due course.

When do we plan on filming?

Ceaseless is currently in pre-production and we plan to shoot in April. As soon as leaves are on the trees we will begin production. From there it will enter post-production with our deadline being the 20th of May. After that the festival run begins throughout the rest of the year with final release being end of 2022/beginning of 2023.

Why we need your help?

The funding will cover location fees and help source historically accurate props and costume. Additionally, it will cover expenses for cast and crew in terms of transport and catering and support our festival run once the film is complete.

Plans after filming?

After filming we will launch our festival run, we plan to enter numerous festivals like Manchester Film Festival, Bolton Film Festival and may others.Hopefully we our successful in the festival run but after that is done we will be doing one last event to release the film publicly with an exclusive screening in Manchester.
